Valueapps ("we", "us") provides software for property valuation, land surveying, title and property search, property rating, and compensation (RAP) programmes. This policy explains what information we collect through the Valueapps platform and mobile app, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

2. Information we collect

Account information: names, email address, telephone number, role, credentials, and institution for staff accounts; and name, email, and telephone for individuals who self-register on the app for valuation insight.

Operational data: instructions, valuation and survey records, project and field data, property searches, images, and documents captured or uploaded by your institution.

Project-affected person (PAP) data: where your institution runs compensation or rating programmes, records may include identity, contact, location, and asset details of affected persons, entered and controlled by your institution.

Technical data: device, log, and usage information used to operate, secure, and improve the service.

3. How we use information

To provide and operate the platform's modules, dashboards, reporting, and secure storage.

To authenticate users, enforce role-based access, and maintain audit trails.

To process payments for licences and per-search fees, and to provide support.

To monitor, secure, back up, and improve the service.

4. Data controllership

For operational and PAP data entered by an institution, that institution is the data controller and is responsible for the lawful basis of processing; we act as a processor on its behalf. For individual app subscribers, we act as the controller for the account data needed to provide valuation insight.

5. Storage, security and retention

Data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure with encrypted transport, access controls, and regular backups. We retain data for as long as your account or your institution's engagement is active, and as required to meet legal, audit, and contractual obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the platform (such as hosting and payment providers) under appropriate safeguards, or where required by law.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law and your institution's controls, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Staff should contact their institution administrator; individual subscribers and other requests can be directed to us using the details below.
